Bare Minerals Original Foundation Review

I just love my little Bare Minerals set! Selfridges were handing them out when I went for a wee visit and thought it would be rude not to take one- like every blogger out there my excuse was “well if I get it I can always review it for my blog?” I hope I’m not the only one that does that when debating on buying clothes and makeup?

Anyways, onto the foundation itself- I loved the fact that its a loose powder but still gives you get coverage, it lasted pretty much all day too! The colour was a great match for my skin (I’m the most tanned I’ve ever been and still managed to get the shade fair) and it seemed to come in enough shades that there will definitely be one for everyone. For a freebie it wasn’t half bad but at £25 a pot it might be a while before I get my hands on this powder, boo!

Have you tried any Bare Minerals products before?

  1. I’ve been meaning to try this out for a while now. Do you think it’s worth the price tag? X

It definitely worked for me! £25 is a lot to pay though, it’s loads better than I expected though?

Silly me, forgot to put on about coverage! I would say its probably mid-full coverage if you wear concealer etc underneath?

What kind of coverage does it give you? Full/medium/sheer?

I’ve always wanted to try out powder foundations!

Me too, I’ve never tried one before! It’s probably got mid-full coverage but this is if you are wearing a concealer etc underneath- hope that helps!

I always find that bare minerals products look really odd and flakey on me, but if it was free I’d definitely pick one up too haha! And that brush is so cute,

I don’t think their products work for everyone, which is a shame! I love the brush too, it’s so tiny!

Same with all make up though, no product works for everyone! X

I never feel comfortable with loose powder foundations, this sounds really good though. x

I never thought I would be but once I tried it, it just felt like I was wearing regular foundation, I honestly forgot I was wearing a powder one:)
