City Skyline Nail Art Tutorial

Morning! I’ve loved doing different nail art tutorials recently so I thought I would give you a step-by-step of my new favourite one. How to get a city skyline on your nails! To achieve these looks I always use a YouTube tutorial, then create it for myself and blog about it, so if you’re a big YouTube fan try checking out this tutorial then try the channel Cute Polish!

Step One Find an old sponge and paint a line of blue, purple and white nail polish onto it;

Step Two Press the sponge onto the desired nail, you many need to add more nail polish to get the complete look. Don’t worry about it getting messy, you can always get rid of the excess around your nail with some nail varnish remover;

Step Three Paint a rectangle in one corner (about a third?) of the nail, now fill it in with black nail polish;

Step Four Repeat step three but make your rectangle taller/smaller accordingly to create the illusion of a building;

Step Five Use a dotting tool or cocktail stick to draw small windows onto the buildings (I forgot to photograph this step, oops- the image is from Cute Polish’s YT video)

Et voila! You’re finished, don’t forget to add a top coat to prolong the life of your nails though, you don’t want it to chip!

If you have any nail tutorial requests let me know, I love posting them!
